A national survey by The Australian Population Research Institute (TAPRI) found that 15% of Australian citizens born in Europe and the UK intend to vote for One Nation, see the Table below (Intended vote).
In stark contrast, 0% of voters born in Asia, and a mere 1% of those born in the Middle East, Africa and Israel, plan to vote for One Nation.
A big portion of English-Speaking-Background Voters (ESB) and European born voters plan to vote for the Coalition.
But this is a wasted vote as the Coalition also support mass immigration, albeit at lower levels than Labor’s extreme net overseas migration (NOM) policy.
The survey indicates there is potential for One Nation to entice a fair share of the European and ESB voters (those born in the UK or Ireland, New Zealand and North America) from the Coalition.
One Nation should campaign on a policy to preserve Australia’s European population majority. Pauline Hanson has promoted this in the past.
Why not in 2024? European Australians are undergoing significant demographic decline.
One Nation’s original policy document was released in the 1990’s. In the document there is a clear commitment to defend the Anglo-Australian majority population:
“Every variety of culture in Australia today has a mother country where their particular culture can survive and develop. Our unique Australian culture and identity has nowhere else in the world in which to survive. Destroy it here and it is gone forever.”
This statement is more relevant today because the 2021 Census revealed that the Anglo-Australian share of population had fallen to 51.7%, compared to 70% in the 1990’s.
Bear in mind the 51.7% figure is based on the count of up to 2 responses per person to the Ancestry question in the Census.
The total number of responses to the Ancestry question is significantly higher than the total count of the Australian population on Census night. Therefore, there is certain to be an overcount of the Anglo-Celtic Australian population.
Developing an Anglo-Celtic ethnic group voting strategy
One Nation do have some very good policies in place which are clearly orientated towards sustaining Australia’s European population.
Their immigration policy seeks to:
Implement a “zero-net migration policy and focus on permitting only highly skilled migrants from culturally cohesive countries into Australia. Migrants must demonstrate a sound level of English for assimilation purposes. Education courses in Australian universities should not be used as a backdoor to immigrate to Australia.”
However, One Nation’s policies do not explicitly advocate for the preservation of the Anglo-Australian majority. They could nonetheless make this a key policy statement. While also praising non-European migrants for their significant contribution towards the development of Australia.
No doubt such a policy statement will come up against a barrage of criticism, and accusations of racism from the mainstream media, the political establishment, academia and multicultural organisations.
One Nation have been through all this before, and leader Pauline Hanson has stood up to everything the Australian political class have thrown at her.
There is a need for a political party to represent Anglo-Celtic Australians in parliament. And to campaign on policies that sustain Anglo-Celtic Australians as the majority population. A political party willing to take a stand for the Anglo-Celtic population.
The British Australia Community (BAC) provide the ideal example for a political party to follow.
The BAC are not a political party. But they are the key lobby group for, “Australians whose ancestors came from the British Isles (Anglo-Celtic Australians).” The aim is to, “celebrate and defend the history and interests of traditional Australians.”
Their purpose is to:
“Make public and private representations to Australian Federal, State and local governments and statutory bodies, the media, corporations, individuals and the Australian public generally with a view to overcoming prejudice and misunderstanding regarding Anglo Australians, their history, heritage, and culture.”
There is clearly an urgent need for a political party to complement the great work the British Australian Community are doing in forwarding the interests of Anglo-Celtic Australians.
The Labor Party and Liberal Party use multiculturalism in the form of identity politics to increase their votes among the non-Anglo, largely immigrant, population.
The PM Anthony Albanese and opposition leader Peter Dutton are regularly seen in public, adorning traditional ethnic clothing and attending ethnic group events. See mage below.

Why not One Nation use similar tactics to increase its votes among the European and Anglo-Celtic population?
One way to do this is to openly campaign for the right of the founding Anglo-Celtic ethnic group to remain the majority population.
A recent research paper by an eminent Australian demographer revealed that five Asian nations deliberately restrict immigration to preserve their majority populations.
Why can’t Australia do the same?
“The aspiration to remain the majority ethnicity in one’s own country is completely normal, ethical and, for non-white nations, uncontroversial.”1
Another way to defend Anglo-Australian interests in the political system is to craft a new political narrative. And to go on the offensive.
The use of the term Anglophobia is becoming more widespread. Thanks to the publication of the excellent book Anglophobia: The Unrecognised Hatred.
“Anglophobia is defined as hostility towards, aversion to, or discrimination against Anglo people.”2
One Nation does not appear to use Anglophobia as a political weapon to push back against anti-white leftists. However, the authors of Anglophobia (Richardson and Salter, 2023) highlight why this is an effective political strategy:
“Whites need to recognise and identify injustices against them and against their group interests. They need to push back hard against these attacks. In order to do so, they need a word that encapsulates attacks upon them that are, or at least should be, unacceptable to most reasonable people … After casting around and trying various combinations, we arrived, largely by process of elimination, at the term “Anglophobia.”3
There is a large pool of potential new voters for One Nation
The national survey by TAPRI suggest there is significant number of votes for One Nation to win over. If they indeed, become political advocates for Anglo-Australians
The Australia Population Research Institute found that 61% of Asian born voters’ plan to vote Labor and Greens, 0% plan to vote for One Nation.
The Table below (Intended vote) highlights that a mere 1% of voters born in the Middle East, Africa and Israel plan to vote for One Nation.
These results indicate there is not much benefit at all for One Nation putting any resources into attracting the ethnic minority vote. That is clearly the domain of the Liberal and Labor parties as shown in the Table below.
However, there is an opportunity to entice a big portion of European and ESB voters away from the Coalition. They represent a significant potential voting block for One Nation
A vote for the Coalition is wasted because they also support mass immigration, albeit at lower levels than Labor’s extreme NOM policy.
One Nation could entice voters from the Coalition with a key policy to preserve the Anglo-Australian population majority.
A policy of such national importance has the potential to attract a substantial number of voters from the Coalition. For example, 43% of ESB voters plan to vote for the Coalition, and 40% of European born voters intend to vote for the Coalition.
As stated above, One Nation does have some excellent immigration policies.
But they have to go a stage further. They have to come out and state a key policy is to preserve the Anglo-Celtic majority population. Pauline Hanson has promoted this in a previous One Nation policy document.
Why not in 2024? When European Australians are undergoing significant demographic decline.
As is highlighted in Table 1 below, non-European populations are undergoing huge growth in Australia. This is due to the immigration policies of both the Coalition and Labor parties.
However, the UK born migrant population remains the largest single group born overseas. With a population of over 927,000 English born migrants, this represents a large pool of people who share the same Anglo-Celtic ethnic identity as the majority of Australians.
This represents a substantial number of potential voters that could be attracted by a policy that aims to preserve Anglo-Australians as the majority population.
If One Nation published a policy statement to preserve Anglo-Australians as the majority population, this could be a very effective strategy.
It would reveal the Coalition, Labor and Greens as political parties that are uncaring and callous due to their support for mass immigration and therefore the population replacement of European Australians.
It is the height of naivety to believe that the main partes didn’t realise they were supporting the demographic preplacement of Anglo-Australians. And they don’t appear to have the integrity to be upfront about this.
Mass replacement-level immigration has been implemented for the past 2 decades by the main parties.
The UK born population is diminishing and the Indian born, and Chinese born migrant populations are growing rapidly as shown in Table 1 below.
This means that the UK born citizens are under serious threat of losing the top position.
In particular, the Albanese government have implemented a massive overseas migration program, which reached a record breaking 518,000 net migrants for the year ending June 2023.
This demonstrates this is a critical period for One Nation or a new Patriotic party to harvest the votes of UK and European born migrants.
And to implement a policy that aims to sustain Anglo-Australians as the majority population.

Thank you for providing this analysis. I wish we had a political party with the courage of their convictions to address the serious decline in the social fabric of our society caused by mass immigration of cohorts who will never integrate and whose values are not compatible with democracy.
