Australia undergoes a huge increase in replacement-level immigration under the Albanese government.
The latest data from the Australia Bureau of Statistics (ABS) demonstrate there has been a massive increase in population replacement-level immigration under the Albanese government.
The monthly permanent and long-term arrivals jumped up to the highest ever recorded (153,000). And the highest net permanent and long-term figure ever recorded as well at 105,500 (see Figure 1 below).
According to Australian economist Leith van Onselen:
Labor’s projection was categorically blown out of the water by Tuesday’s net permanent and long-term arrivals figures from the ABS. Recorded the strongest monthly (105,500), quarterly (172,400), and annual (498,300) arrivals on record in February.
If we look at the total number of permanent and long-term arrivals since the Labor government took office in May 2022. There has been an enormous number of permanent and long-term arrivals. Over 1.9 million new migrants entered Australia since Labor have been in government.
The more important figure is the net permanent and long-term number of migrants that have settled in Australia. Because they have clearly contributed to the very big increase in demand on housing supply, essential services and infrastructure.
The ABS data reveal that this has reached an extremely high amount. A total of 730,660 permanent and long-term net migrants have been brought in by Labor since they have been in government. From May 2022.

Labor’s excessive immigration policy is bringing about fast demographic change.
Labor’s huge migration program is rapidly changing Australia’s demographic composition. The ABS Overseas Migration series reveals there has been a very large increase in the number of migrant arrivals from non-European countries.
Labor implemented the policy which resulted in net overseas migrants comprising 83% of population growth, which reached a record 660,000 for the year end Sep 2023.
And the Albanese government have overseen a huge increase in net overseas migration (NOM) reaching 549,000 for the year ending September 2023.
This is more than double the pre-Covid NOM, which was 247,600 for the 2019 calendar year.
Labor’s excessive NOM policy is resulting in the population replacement of European Australians.
However, the Coalition remain silent about the fact that the huge influx of migrants is bringing about very fast cultural change, which is clearly undermining social cohesion in Australia.
During the Coalition’s period in government. They also implemented large-scale immigration, which resulted in the demographic decline of European Australians.
Is the huge increase in NOM a ploy to harvest potential votes for Labor?
According to a recent national survey by The Australian Population Research Institute (TAPRI), Asian and other non-European born voters are much more likely to vote for Labor as opposed to voting for the Coalition.
A substantial number of votes from the Chinese migrant population helped Labor secure the 2022 Federal election.
Therefore, it’s no surprise that Labor really put the foot on the accelerator in terms of enabling a very large migrant intake from Asia.
The majority of net overseas migrant arrivals are from Asia the Middle East, Africa and South & Central America.
Opposition to Labor’s extreme immigration policy is building.
There are however some positive signs beginning to emerge.
A major national survey by TAPRI revealed a sizeable proportion of voters (21%) intend to vote for One nation. We put this down to the fact that One Nation’s immigration policy is emerging as a key policy difference to Labor’s extreme immigration policy.
Interestingly, the survey found that the majority of UK and European 1st generation migrants, intend to vote for the Coalition or One Nation. Whereas a much smaller proportion of UK and European born migrants intend to vote for Labor.
It should be noted that the survey recorded voters’ intentions in December 2023. Therefore, there is no guarantee that the voting intentions will be reflected at the next Federal election. The next election could be held in early 2025.
In addition, the Coalition are coming under pressure to release their NOM policy. In a recent interview, the shadow immigration minister Dan Tehan is at least beginning to talk about implementing a more sensible policy than Labor.
It will be interesting to see what the Coalition come up with. Because they, like Labor, have been fully committed to replacement-level immigration over the past 2 decades.
I’m not convinced that mass immigration from China, or other non-European countries, is all about Labor wanting to increase its voter base.
Remember that John Howard increased net overseas migration to an unprecedented (for then) 300,000 per year. The consequent demographic change in his seat of Bennelong caused him to lose his own seat in the 2007 Federal election.
Howard must have perceived what was coming - for both himself and his government. But.. he went ahead and lifted NOM to record levels anyway.
Why? My guess is pressure from the business lobby. The corporate sponsors are important to the LNP - just as they are for the ALP today as well.
We all like to critique the skanky, blue-haired degenerates who cheer on our demographic replacement. They’re easy, obvious targets. But are they really the *source* of the policy which is seeing us replaced in the country our forebears built? I don’t think so.
I think it’s a kind of global-capitalist mindset.. one which simply can’t conceive of the organic nation as anything other than sand in the gears of The Market. One which imagines a borderless, one world, one (consumer) culture as a positive thing. On X, I’ve called this mindset a form of neo-imperialism - and while there’s a measure of hyperbole in that, I don’t think it’s without foundation.
The nations of the world - including the proud, organic, white Australian nation - need to cultivate a new mindset. One which values the global diversity of separate cultures and separate ethnicities. A mindset to replace the sick liberal-capitalist thinking that is - simply - an existential threat to our descendants future.
It’s about European erasure not votes.
